A converted stable home on the estate that belonged to King Henry VIII's most powerful adviser Thomas Cromwell has gone on sale for £1.3 million.
The Fold Yard is located in the manor of Oversley in Warwickshire which is mentioned in the Domesday Book.
In 1537 the estate was bought by Cromwell, who is the main character in Hilary Mantel's novel Wolf Hall and who was later beheaded for treason.
