A small plot of land hidden in a copse of trees is up for sale for £1.5m - because it is on the edge of Sandbanks.

The empty clearing in the cluster of fir trees at the end of a cul-de-sac overlooking Poole Harbour, Dorset, can only be seen from the air.

But one opportunistic property developer bought the 0.8 acre site and has secured planning permission to build a luxury four bedroom house there.
