A pair of 18th century Louis XV chairs which were seized by the Nazis have sold for a record £5.1m.
The gilt walnut and white painted fauteuils which once belonged to Louis XV's last mistress Madame du Barry.
But they were taken from the Paris residence of a member of the Rothschilds' banking family after Germany occupied France in 1940.
