Tinseltown comes to Dorset - Wax artist Michael Wade is surrounded with a surreal who's who of Hollywood stars in the unlikely surrounds of his Bridport studio.

Michael has just completed a bumper order of silver screen idols for a new museum in America. His tiny studio is now home to John Wayne, Humphrey Bogart and Elvis as well as Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Aniston and even Marylin Monroe.

Each work takes 3 months to create with a sculptor first creating the head before thousands of real hairs are individually inserted, next a hairdresser cuts and crimps, teeth made by a dentist are added along with bespoke eyes created by NHS technicians.

After all this careful work Michael takes the waxwork to a dress maker to tailor a suitable outfit and then the stunning £20,000 models are complete.
