A remarkable treasure trove of James Dean memorabilia which belonged to his agent has sold for £210,000. ($260,000)
Jane Deacy, who guided him from unknown actor to Hollywood icon, kept hold of almost 400 items relating to the tragic American actor's short but glittering career.
Top lots included Dean's original signed contract for East of Eden (1954), inscribed photos and personal letters revealing his insecurities.
