A piece of paper covered in Napoleon's doodles and his attempts at writing English words has been unearthed after 207 years.
The 'Little General' was banished to the remote South Atlantic outpost in 1815 after his defeat at Waterloo.
To pass the time, he did little geometric drawings and tried to learn English by writing down random words.
