A wooden trunk that was taken from Adolf Hitler's office by a British army officer as a wartime souvenir is being sold by his family 75 years later.
Lieutenant Colonel Malcolm Hancock found the storage box at the Reich Chancellery next to the Nazi dictator's smashed-up marble desk.
The trunk, which is stamped 'Kanzlei des Fuhrer der NSDAP' (Chancellery of the Fuhrer), still has the damage from where it was forced open with a crowbar to see if there were any secret items inside.
Lt Col Hancock brought the 31ins x 14ins x 18ins trunk back from Germany to Britain with him after the war.
