The vintage car is prepared for the auction

A stunning recreation of a vintage Bentley Blower racing car has emerged for sale for £400,000.

Just 55 of the supercharged 4.5 litre motors were built by the British marque in the late 1920s, specifically for the Le Mans 24 Hour Race.

Just a handful exist today but so iconic were the elongated Bentleys that wealthy fans commission rebuilds of them today.

The one coming up for auction now is based on the original chassis of a 1937 Bentley Park Ward Sports Saloon.
