Short cut from Trunk road...

Lucky photographer Chris Jek captured this amazing spectacle of a herd of Elephants taking a shortcut to a river in the Kruger National Park earlier on this year.

The hilarious spectacle involved over 60 of the massive mammals sliding and rolling down a steep sandy bank to reach a watering hole in the Sabie river.

But with a adult male weighing in at over 7 tons the ungainly excursion needed very careful choreographing to prevent some of the youngster's getting squashed.
