An interior designer to the stars is selling virtually the entire contents of her multi-million pounds London apartment that she is moving out of.

Tessa Kennedy's client list for home makeovers has included Elizabeth Taylor, George Harrison and Pierce Brosnan as well as famous hotels like the Ritz and Claridges.

During her jet-set career, she acquired opulent pieces of furniture, art work and ornaments from around the world that she filled her town and country residence with.

Now aged 75, Miss Kennedy no longer requires her three-bed Knightsbridge flat and is auctioning off most of its contents in a unique sale at Christie's.
