Live like a Rees-Mogg
A grand country house that was the childhood home of MP Jacob Rees-Mogg is on the market for £9.5m.
Ston Easton Park is a beautiful Georgian Grade I listed property with stunning Grade II listed gardens designed by 18th century landscape gardener Humphry Repton.
Rees-Mogg's father William bought the country manor in 1964 and the Somerset MP and leader of the House of Commons spent his formative years there.
The 22,000 sq ft property was later converted into a hotel but the economic fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic saw the hotel go into administration in June.
Now agents Strutt & Parker say it could become a "commanding family home" again.
