The Seagulls have landed...<br />

Lyme Regis council have come up with a cunning plan to rid the Dorset seaside town of its seagull menace this Easter - they've recruited two huge bald eagles to patrol the genteel resort.<br />

Tourism bosses fear over aggressive seagulls are scaring away visitors and have hired the two fearsome birds of prey to patrol the beaches and promenades this Easter.<br />

Like many coastal resorts, Lyme Regis in Dorset has a longstanding problem with angry gulls attacking tourists and pinching their chips and ice creams.<br />
<br />
Initial reports after the first deployment of eagles Winnie and Kojak yesterday suggest that the Seagull's are now keeping their distance.
