A spectacular collection of over 1,000 items charting Elizabeth Taylor's life including her iconic outfits are up for sale for over £1million. ($1.25million)

Dozens of designer gowns, fur coats and capes are being auctioned by the trustees of the estate of the late English actress.

Also going under the hammer are the Hollywood icon's stylish wigs, scarves, shoes and jewellery.

Items of her lavish furniture from her luxury homes across the world, right down to her personalised salt and pepper shaker, are included.
