The late John Bonham's classic car will be sold at the Goodwood Festival of Speed on June 24.

The 1976 Jensen Interceptor Mark 3 Convertible boasts a 7.2 litre V8 engine, 330bhp and a top speed of around 140mph.

Bonham, a fanatical collector of cars, is thought to have felt a particular closeness to his Interceptor due to the fact that is was manufactured just 20 miles away from his hometown.

Jenson Motors ceased trading the year Bonham bought the car - with his being one of the last to leave the factory.
