A poignant doodle thought to be one of the last ever drawn by John Lennon before he was shot dead has emerged for sale for 20,000 pounds.
Lennon scribbled the child-like drawing of six spectacled self portrait faces with his famous mantra 'give peace a chance' written underneath in 1979.
The following year the former Beatle was murdered by killer Mark Chapman outside the Dakota apartment block in New York.
The doodle is being sold alongside two of Lennon's biggest hit singles - Give Peace a Chance from 1969 and Imagine from 1971.
Experts have tipped the 9ins by 7.5ins drawing to fetch £20,000 when it goes under the hammer.
