A popular model village is being given an extensive winter clean in a bid to spruce it up ready for summer trade.<br />
<br />
The Wimborne Model Town in Dorset is currently undergoing extensive work ready for tourists to return next year.<br />
<br />
The scaled down buildings have all had their windows removed and will be painted in the coming months.<br />
<br />
The work is carried out by a team of volunteers, who often find themselves in uncompromising positions to reach the various nooks and crannies.<br />
<br />
While cleaning, the team have been known to fully squeeze into the models in order to do a full and proper job.<br />
<br />
The village is set to reopen in March 2020.
