Pictured: Comic drawings of life in a WW2 camp drawn by an unknown soldier have reemerged after languishing in a loft for almost 80 years.
The roughly 40 illustrations are accompanied by stories about the camp's eclectic array of characters narrated by a cat called 'Little Pur'.
They are included in two manuscripts made by a 'lost talent' stationed in the Middle East who died in battle.
Publishers are said to be 'lining up' to snatch the previously unseen books at auction so they can be published for the first time since their creation in 1943.
