With the trend for instant images and all things digital, one photographer has turned his back on 21st century technology to embrace the 1800s.<br />
<br />
These black and white portraits look like they could have been taken 150 years ago, but they have all been taken in the last five years as part of a project to resurrect a Victorian photo technique.<br />
<br />
Instead of the quick snaps and filters of instagram and other digital apps, each picture takes up to 20 minutes to process.<br />
<br />
But photographer Andy Martin, 30, says it was the instant photo of its day.
