The Ferrari F1 car in which Michael Schumacher won his sixth World Championship title today sold for a world record price of £13.9 million.
The 2003 F200-Ga was raced to victory six times by the German driver in the 2003 series, when he smashed the record for most World Championship titles.
Described as 'one of the most important F1 cars in history', the red Ferrari sparked a fierce bidding war when it came up for auction at RM Sotheby's in Geneva today.
