These tiny adorable puppies had a traumatising start to life but are now thriving thanks to a huge rescue mission.<br />

Their mother was among 96 dogs rescued from a horrific puppy farm where they had been living in squalid conditions.<br />
<br />
The shih-tzu, believed to be about six or seven years old, was found heavily pregnant with matted fur, severe malnutrition and flea and worm infestations.<br />
<br />
Having been used as a 'breeding machine' mum Fergie is still recovering from her ordeal a month on, but her five two-week-old babies seem to be doing well.
