A self-taught artist is using driftwood and fallen bits of trees to create stunning eco-friendly sculptures worth thousands of pounds.<br />

Brendan Rawlings trawls the coastline near his home for bits of wood washed ashore or broken off in storms.<br />

He then spends up to two months transforming the dead wood into incredible angels, dancers and an array of animals.<br />

Brendan, who lives in Woodbury, Devon, starts his carving with chainsaws and works down to using a small electric multi-tool to finish the finer details.
