The base jumper stuck on the pylon
A base jumper who climbed 100ft up an old electricity pylon, leaving himself dangerously suspended 100ft in the air.
The dare devil had been climbing the metal tower as part of a daring stunt at the abandoned Rampisham Transmitter Station, in Dorset.
However, around two thirds of the way up the 150ft structure, he got into difficulty and came away from the area he'd been climbing.
As a result he was left hanging in mid air with no way of getting himself safely to the ground.
The emergency services were called and crew crews were called in from Weymouth and Beaminster to rescue the thrill-seeker.
