WW1 recruitment posters part of the poster sale "There is Still A Place For You"

An incredibly-rare poster that was the forerunner for the famous 'Your Country Wants You' World War One recruitment advert has been discovered.
The poster, featuring Lord Kitchener pointing his finger, was a news stand advert for an edition of the magazine London Opinion in September 1914.
Officials from the War Office spotted it and decided they wanted the same design for their nationwide recruitment campaign for young men to join the army.
