Home sweet home...
A former barn that was relocated for the Lyle family of golden syrup fame is on the market for £1.695m.
The Old Barn was built in Sussex in the early 17th century, but the frame of the house was moved to Surrey for the Lyle family in 1920.
It was reconstructed by Arts and Crafts architect George Blair Imrie, who was famed for the comfort of his houses.
The four-bedroom home in Leatherhead is atmospheric and has retained lots of period features including oak and ironwork doors, fitted bookcases and hand-painted tiles.
