Million Pound Toyota!

RM Sothebys up-coming auction of some of the worlds most desirable supercars contain's one unlikely listing amongst the Ferrari's, Bugatti's and Porsche - a humble Toyota 2000 GT dubbed the 'Japanese E-Type'.

Despite its unusual looks and utilitarian trim, this humdrum relic of the 1960's is likely to sell for over a million pounds as part of RM Sothebys £43 million 'Pinnacle' sale in Monterey, California next month.

It's collectability has been enhanced by a tiny production run of only 371 vehicles, and by an appearance in the 1967 Bond film 'You Only Live Twice' in which Sean Connery swaps his more recognisable Aston Martin for a convertible 2000 GT.
