Qianlong porcelain masterpiece - The lost pair to a vase sold for £43 million in 2013 has emerged for sale...but you'll need very, very deep pockets to buy it.

The matching pair to a Chinese vase that was sold by a British solicitor for £43m eight years ago has turned up.

The 18th century Qianlong vase is almost identical to the one that took the antiques world by storm after Tony Johnson and his mother Gene offered it for sale.

The 16ins item went under the hammer at a provincial Surrey auction house for an astonishing £43m to a wealthy Chinese collector.

Now its 'lost' pair has surfaced for sale at auctioneers Sotheby's after spending almost 100 years owned by the same family.
