A heartfelt account of the moment the photographer who 'discovered' Marilyn Monroe first saw her has emerged for sale along with rarely-seen snaps of her debut modelling shoot.
Joseph Jasgur wrote of how he immediately realised the fresh-faced 19-year-old would 'make it big' when he saw her blue eyes and thought he was 'looking into a kaleidoscope.'
His account and snaps of a young Marilyn posing playfully on a beach are to sell at auction tomorrow in LA.
