What a corker...

An incredible collection of corkscrews dating back 300 years and from all over the world has emerged for sale for £20,000.

Retired hotelier François Touzin has had a passion for collecting corkscrews for 45 years and this sale is less than half of what he has amassed in his travels around the globe.

The 470 corkscrews range from the early 18th century through to miniature corkscrews from the 1970s that were designed for opening travelling ladies' and gentlemen's perfumes and vary in estimates from £50 to £800.
The collection will be sold with Special Auction Services tomorrow (Tues).
